In a statement, the company said it had signed the agreement with the club to make its product - Mister Potato - the official global snack partner of Manchester United.
In a parallel deal, Mamee Noodles will become the official snack partner in Asia, Oceana and the Middle East.
Mamee-Double Decker, which had a turnover of RM483.8 million in 2010, is investing RM130 million to expand its production capacity as it is confident of achieving a big growth in business through increased exports to existing markets as well as new markets.
The distinctive new packaging for the Mister Potato stacked chips will feature the likes of Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Park Ji-Sung and other first-team players.
"A substantial portion of Manchester United fans are in Asia and we are looking to solidify our position as the No. 1 stacked chip brand in the region through this sponsorship deal," he said.
Pang said with Australia, Singapore, Russia, the Netherlands and the Maldives currently being its top five markets, the company plans to carve out a bigger share of the snack market in Southeast Asia and Asia, including South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and China.
Mamee-Double Decker also hopes to increase its market share in Africa, South America and Europe.
