The Era after Ferguson-Not so good~

Image
We are all missing Sir Alex now, this I believe is what most fans of Man Utd thinking now. Look at Sir Alex's achievement in my previous blog post: http://followtrends.blogspot.com/2013/05/sir-alex-ferguson-retirement-look-at.html We have the Champion! Look at today's rank in EPL:-Man Utd is only at number 9? Yes, you are correct-9, 15 matches, 22 points 1 Arsenal 15 35 2 Liverpool 15 30 3 Chelsea 15 30 4 Man City 15 29 5 Everton 15 28 6 Spurs 15 27 7 Newcastle 15 26 8 Southampton 15 23 9 Man Utd 15 22 10 Swansea 15 19 David Moyes, previously manager of Everton is the new manager after Sir Alex Ferguson. However it seems that the team has had a hard-time adjusting to his style. But I believe a stronger team is in building by him. During his time in Everton, the team is outstanding. Ferguson did not claim no.1 also in fact when he first took over Man Utd in the first 2 years. ----------------...

Getty Images Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has opted to rest Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Rio Ferdinand for the Red Devils' Champions League trip to Galatasaray. With his side looking to maintain its place at the top of the Premier League table, Ferguson has opted to rest a number of senior names - including Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Antonio Valencia and David De Gea - in favour of some of the club's younger players. Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and defender Tom Thorpe are both yet to make a senior appearance for the Old Trafford outfit, have featured at Under-21 level for the club and are capped at England Un...

De Gea signs on

United have confirmed a third new signing of the summer after reaching agreement with Atlético Madrid for the transfer of David de Gea. The 20-year-old goalkeeper passed a medical this week and has agreed a five-year deal with the club. “I feel very proud and I can’t wait to start playing here,” said De Gea in an exclusive interview with MUTV , to be shown on the channel at 18:30 BST today. “When a club the size of Manchester United comes in for you it obviously makes you very, very happy. "I saw their interest as an extra motivation to work even harder to show off my ability. "It’s a great privilege to be part of a club like United and I'm keen to do my best and show what I can do.” De Gea follows Phil Jones and Ashley Young in signing for the Reds and will join up with his new team-mates next month. The young stopper, who was part of Spain’s victorious squad at the UEFA European Under-21 Championships last weekend, came through the ranks at Atlético before mak...

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea was undergoing a medical at Manchester United on Monday afternoon.

De Gea arrives to replace Edwin van der Sar, who retired at the end of the season after a six-year spell at Old Trafford in which he won four Premier League titles, the Champions League and League Cup. De Gea, 20, has long been expected to complete a move to Old Trafford and, following the conclusion of his successful European Under-21 Championship campaign with Spain, he is now due to complete the switch, which will reportedly cost £17.8 million. Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina had told La Gaceta : "I very much welcome this news because David is a great keeper. When it becomes official he is going to start working to prove in the Premier League what a good goalkeeper he is."

The faster running footballer in the world Usain Bolt play for ManU.

Image
Usain Bolt: I could play for Man Utd   Athletics star Usain Bolt has said that he would like to play football when he retires from his current sport, and showed his trademark confidence by suggesting he is good enough to play for Manchester United. Bolt, who gained a worldwide audience at the 2008 Beijing Olympics by setting records for both 100 metres and 200 metres, is confident he could electrify Old Trafford in the same manner. "I really want to try soccer after I retire because I've watched football over the years and I think I could be a good contender," Bolt told the BBC . "I'm really looking forward to it and yes, I definitely think I'm good enough to play for Manchester United. I'm good enough because I'm quick, I have a little skill - I have to refine it a little bit but I should be good enough." The speedy Jamaican met the Red Devils at their training ground back in 2009 and apparently offered sprinting tips to then-United star Cris...

Man Utd Paul Scholes retire

"I am not a man of many words but I can honestly say that playing football is all I have ever wanted to do and to have had such a long and successful career at Manchester United has been a real honour. "This was not a decision that I have taken lightly but I feel now is the right time for me to stop playing. "To have been part of the team that helped the Club reach that 19th title is a great privilege." And I am privileged enough to watch him play so many times for Man United!

Manchester United vs. Barcelona 2011 UEFA Champions-Starting line up

This year's 2011 UEFA Champions is going to be very interesting- the 2 strongest team in Europe, ManUtd v.s Barcelona. Both are now the Champion in their own country's league, and both seek for higher and more. Let's see some predicted starting line-up Man Utd: Van der Sar Rafael Vidic Ferdinand Evra Nani Fletcher Carrick Park Rooney Chicharito Man Utd will go 442, with a pressing intent. There's not point trying to get 5 in midfield against Barcelona because you'll never beat them in midfield. Ferguson will pack the midfield with players that will chase and press like Carrick, Fletcher and Park. Then Rooney and Chicharito will play on the break. Rooney can also drop into midfield if Barca control posession. Barca: Valdes Alves Pique Puyol Abidal Messi Iniesta Busquets Xavi Pedro Villa

Ronaldo The Record-breaking Pinchichi

Image
Christiano Ronaldo has became the top scorer...and this time in Spain. Christiano Ronaldo broke the La Liga scoring record for goals in a single season with 40 goals. He managed to write his own history in Spain by only one goal but it is more than enough. I am sure previous record holders-Hugo Sanchez and Telmo Zarra were not happy when they watched Real Madrid thrashed Almeria 8-1 with Ronaldo getting into the score sheet twice. So congratulation to him for being the historic Pinchichi. :) Christiano Ronaldo-the record breaker! Christiano Ronaldo has scored 53 goals in all competitions this season. Barcelona's Lionel Messi is just one goal behind him with another match in hand. Thanks for all the assists mate. :D Congratulation to Christiano Ronaldo for being the record-breaking La Liga Pinchichi (Top Scorer)

Manchester United Won 19th League Title

Image
Manchester United has officially won their 19th Premier League Title with a draw at Blackburn. Wayne Rooney scored a rather controversial penalty on 72 minutes to allow Manchester United to equalize and get what Red Devil wanted. United's (ruined) record-breaking 19th Premier League Title. Rooney drilled home the ultimate penalty on the 72th minute. United will be holding a victory a victory parade in the city (Manchester of course) on 30th May to celebrate winning their record-breaking 19th title. This celebration will be held at lunch time and fans will be happy to know that there will be open-bus parade for us to join the celebration of a record breaking 19th league title and also a potential Champion League success . I wonder why wait until 30th May?  This means that Manchester United has foreseen they will beat Barcelona on the 28th of May? I sure hope so. Haha :D
