Samsung Galaxy Camera available at Celcom Malaysia from RM 1,499

Samsung Galaxy Camera device bundling is now available at Celcom Malaysia.  The Android-powered point-and-shoot digital camera is selling from as low as RM 1,499 when you subscribe to Celcom First Data Lite broadband data plan. The device retails at RM 1,899 apiece. For RM 48/month, the plan gives you monthly data quota of 1.5 GB with broadband speed up to 1.5 Mbps. Celcom offered two contract duration – 12 months and 24 months. For 12 months contract, the Galaxy Camera is selling for RM 1,599. RM 1,499 for 24 months. The Samsung Galaxy Camera will be launched in Malaysia tomorrow which is their first Android powered compact camera running with Galaxy S III-like internals. To get to know the device better, Samsung has released a rather detailed walk-through video which is available after the break. To recap on the specs, the Galaxy Camera features a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor mated with a wide angle 21X optical zoom. Powering the device is a quad-core Exynos processor which is juiced up with a 1,650mAh battery. Internally there’s a 3.87GB memory which is expandable with microSD up to 64GB. The back comes with a 4.8″ Super Clear LCD multi-touch screen which is one of the biggest displays for a camera.
