Peugeot 408 launched priced from RM109,888 OTR

Peugeot 408 finally is launched in Malaysia just now, Peugeot 408 is available in two variants there are Peugeot 408 turbo (1.6L 163hp 240Nm) and Peugeot 408 2.0L NA (145hp 200Nm).


Priced for these two variants as followed Peugeot 408 Turbo RM125,888 and Peugeot 408 2.0 NA RM109,888 respectively.

The Peugeot 408 Turbo is powered by twin scroll turbo high pressure (THP) with direct petrol injection, 4 inline cylinders, DOHC 16 valve, VVT (variable valve timing). The Peugeot 408 Turbo top speed is capable up to 215 km/h with limited by ECU, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h gives 9.2 seconds.

The safety features of Peugeot 408 Turbo, is include 6 airbags (Dual smart airbags for passenger and front passenger, driver and front passenger side airbags, front and rear curtain airbags), Electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (EBA), anti-skid regulation (ASR), anti-whiplash front seats headrest, front seat belts with pretensioner and force limiters, rear seat belts with force limiters, mechanical child safety locks on rear doors, 2 ISO Fix location points at rear, auto illumination of rear hazard lights and Peugeot transponder immobilizer security.
