LG Optimus L3 & L7 coming to Malaysia in June
The LG Optimus L Series which was announced at MWC 2012 is coming to Malaysia.
We will be getting the Optimus L3 and the Optimus L7 which is priced at RM499 and RM999 respectively. Availability for both devices is slated for early June which is just a couple of weeks away. The L series emphasises on a new design philosophy that comprises of 5 elements: Modern square style, Floating Mass Technology, Seamless layout, Harmonised Design contrast and sensuous slim shape.
In terms of specification, the Optimus L7 runs on a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage which is expandable with microSD. In terms of display, it has a 4.3″ LCD screen that pushes 800×480 pixels resolution. For imaging, it comes with a 5MP camera and the battery is rated at 1,700mAh. The good thing about the Optimus L7 is that it comes loaded with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is quite a breakthrough for LG which struggles to upgrade its current line up to the latest version.
For the Optimus L3, this is a rather entry level device which runs on a lower 800MHz processor, 384MB of RAM, 1GB of storage expandable via microSD, smaller 3.2″ QVGA display, a 3MP camera and a rather generous 1,500mAh battery. The L3 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Currently LG is running a virtual concert contest which is happening live on their Facebook page. Super Junior Fans stand a chance to win special “Mr. Simple” music video CDs and 10 lucky fans could also win the LG Optimus L7.
More details of the event and contest at their LG Facebook page.
