Bajaj RE60 - Cheaper Than Tata Nano !

Baja Auto, which is the world largest threewheelers manufacturer in the world, announced that it will introduce a fourwheeler named 'RE60'. Well, it's not tagged as a car because it's considered as an upgrade for threewheeler owners who want better performance, comfort and safety.



Design-wise, the RE60 is not ugly, but not attractive as well. But what to complain about for a car which will be cheaper than the world cheapest car Tata Nano when it is introduced into the market! However, it won't be grabbing Tata Nano's title since the RE60 is a fourwheeler, not a car.

The RE60 is powered by a 200cc engine with 20bhp which is capable of bringing the car to a top speed of 70km/h. The powerplant only produces 60gms/km of carbon dioxide emission. Acceleration shouldn't be like a snail since it only weighs 400kg, and the lightness contributes to a 35km/litre fuel efficiency.



Inside, expect the equipment to be basic but has adequate space for 4 adults, thanks to the tall-ish structure. When the 4-seater RE60 is introduced, it will be priced at 140,880 rupees or RM 8,300. This will benefit those owning motorcycles who wants to upgrade to a 'family car'
