Sneak Peek – John Carter

Want to know the book that inspires James Cameron to make Avatar & George Lucas to make Star Wars? Love alien movies? Love sci-fi action? …*phew* that was a whole lot of loving! If you love all these elements, how about a movie that encompasses all three things? Sounds too good to be true? Well then, meet John Carter!

John Carter is based on a classic novel written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, who also happens to be the author of Tarzan. This film tells the story of John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), a war weary ex-military captain who is somehow transported to Mars. And the icing on the cake, he becomes embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions among the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (William Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins).

With so much riding on him, Carter rediscovers his humanity and realizes that the fate of the planet rests on his shoulder! This movie will not only have action, but drama and romance as well. And, based on what we’ve seen, this movie boasts some pretty impressive CGI.
