Take a look at its exterior. The Exora Bold & Prime both spotted a new grille, blacked-out headlights and front bumper, but the differences between the two variants are the chrome ring around the fog lights, gold-finished alloys in the Prime. I'm glad that the new bumper looks much better than the outgoing one which is dull and squarish. Rear has smoked taillights and new bumper design. New alloy rim is also nice to look at.

Needless to say that the silver finishing looks much better than the wood finishing in the dark-coloured cabin. Prime gains something that Bold doesn't, such as integrated GPS and headrest LCD for the two captain seats in the 2nd row. Both (Bold Premium and Prime) variants has extensive features like reverse camera integrated in the rear-view mirror, cruise control, electric folding side mirror, leather seats, dual SRS airbags (Bold standard has driver airbag only) and the list goes on.

Well, the focus of the Exora Bold Premium is the CFE engine, which is a 1.6litre with 138bhp at 5000rpm and 205Nm of torque at 2000-4000rpm! Mated with a CVT (also found in the recently launched Saga FLX SE) gearbox, this improvement will make a huge difference when moving the car fully laden with passengers because the new engine has 13bhp and 55Nm of torque more than the normal CPS engine.
While the power increased, fuel consumption is also affected slightly. The CFE engine can produce 7.8l/100km fuel efficiency while the older CPS engine produces 7.2l/100km fuel efficiency. Well, this is the law of physics where more energy will be consumed when more power is produced. However, we shouldn't complain about this because the new CFE engine is giving out performance level comparable to a 2.0litre engine while the car is also charged as a 1.6litre car in terms of road tax!
