Stalk the Relationship Status of Someone You Like on Facebook

You like someone but he/she is in a relationship? Wanna get notification as soon as he/she is out of it? There’s an Facebook app for that!
Breakup Notifier is a Facebook app that will notify you by email when the relationship of your chosen friends changed.

It is easy to become a relationship stalker:

1. Visit BreakupNotifier and Log in with Facebook (which will add the app to your Facebook account)
2. Your Facebook friends will be retrieved and you choose the friend(s) you’re interested in.
3. Whenever the chosen friends’ relationship status changed, you get an email notification.

I’m married and I tried the app (so that I could write this post!). I got a small note that say “P.S. You are married! Don’t worry, we won’t tell…“. I like the humor.
Overall, the Facebook app lists all your friends, regardless their status. Friends who hide their relationship status also get listed. The app should be named to “relationship monitor” instead.
In my opinion, if you are an admirer, you would visit his/her Facebook profile at least daily if not hourly. Thus, you will definitely be the 1st to know when he/she changes relationship status.
