The  2015 Perodua Myvi facelift  has just been launched in Malaysia. The best-selling car in the nation – for nine years in a row – is now in its second-generation, having first been launched way back in 2005. First things first, the entire range has now been rebranded with four variants on offer. Things kick off with the 1.3 Standard G, followed by the 1.3 Premium X – both of which replace the  Myvi 1.3 XT  and 1.3 SE, respectively. Further up, the 1.5 SE remains while the 1.5 Advance takes over the  1.5 Extreme  variant. The most glaring difference between both the 1.3 and 1.5 are the front grille design as well as an eight-spoke wheel motif on the 1.3 – the 1.5 gets spiral-themed wheels. 2015 Mazda 2 1.5 launched – hatch and sedan We’ve  seen the car at regional motor shows , we’ve  seen the brochure  and  price list , we’ve  seen the spyshots , we’ve even  driven it ; now, it’s finally here. We are of course talking about the new 2015 Mazda 2, which makes its Malaysian debut in both  hatchback  and  sedan  forms,  fully imported  from Thailand. The unveiling took place at Mazda’s new body and paint repair centre in Glenmarie. Firstly, we’ll kick things off with the prices. Or rather, price – both the hatch and sedan will retail at  RM87,956  on-the-road with insurance, inclusive of a three-year/100,000 km warranty and a three-year/60,000 km free service package. Measuring 4,060 mm long, the hatch is the longest car in its class, beating the next longest, the  Kia Rio , by 15 mm. It was a smash and grab. Yours truly’s visit to the  2014 Thai Motor Expo ‘s press day (show still on, until Dec 10) was very DIY – flights and accomodation were all self-funded and finalised just a few days before.
