Proton Prevé Official Picture And Specification

Image
Here we got official picture of Proton Prevé. The front looks like current Honda City with X shape bumper and grill design. Side profile also resemble the new Ford Focus, which is one of three car that used for Prevé design and dynamic benchmarking. While the interior dash instrument panel admin think personally way better than that Kia Forte thanks to straight forward and European design. The gear knob design is OK but too much painted surface may invite scratches very fast. Overall very good looking car and packed with load of irresistible accesories. The launching will be this 16 April by PM.

Volkswagen Polo Sedan - Cheapest VW To Date in Malaysia !

Image
Volkswagen has put in a lot of effort to gain a spot in Malaysia's automotive industry. Starting with the Das Auto Show KL 2011 to now, the cheapest Volkswagen available in Malaysia to date - Polo Sedan. Selling at a starting price of RM99,888 without insurance, it is cheaper than its hatchback sibling, the Polo Hatchback by almost RM10k. The Polo Sedan comes with 5-year warranty and is built and imported from India to Malaysia. The Polo Sedan might seems like a Polo Hatchback with a boot strapped on, but it turns out that Polo Sedan has an extended wheelbase of 82mm from the Polo Hatchback to 2552mm. So you can expect a larger cabin space compared to the Polo Hatchback. As a comparison, Toyota Vios and Honda City has an almost similar 2550mm wheelbase. Besides that, the Polo Sedan looks good and doesn't have the usual awkward rear end eventhough it is based on its hatchback sibling. The Polo Sedan comes with interior chrome package, which lighten up the ra...

The new iPAD now RM1499

Image
Before the clock strikes 12, the new iPad is now ready for online orders at the Apple Store. As expected, there’s no change of pricing compared to the previous iPad 2 with the 16GB WiFi version going for RM1,499. For the 4G + WiFi version, although the 4G band is not supported in Malaysia, it still supports the usual 3G networks here with micro-SIM. The extra difference is the support for HSPA+ with download speeds up to 42Mbps which is currently supported by U Mobile. Of course, availability of higher speeds depend on actual coverage with HSPA+. If you don’t want to spend on the latest, you still can order the iPad 2 which is priced at RM1,199 for the 16GB WiFi or RM1,599 for the 16GB 3G version. 32GB and 64GB models are no longer available online. To order the new iPad at the comfort of your home, head over to the Apple Store.

New iPad launching in Malaysia this Friday

Image
This is it. If you’re anticipating for the high resolution new iPad, your wait is finally over as Apple has announced 20th April 2012 as the official availability for Malaysia and other 11 countries including South Korea and Brunei. Our neighbouring Thailand will be getting theirs the following Friday on 27th April. Pricing wise we don’t expect deviation from the current RM1,499 starting price for the 16GB WiFi version. As for the 4G + WiFi version, although it isn’t fully supported in Malaysia, we believe it will still make an entrance considering it supports 3G and HSPA+ speeds up to 42Mbps. The new iPad isn’t a huge leap forward compared to the previous version apart from the high resolution screen, faster processor and improved 5MP camera. The new version is slightly thicker and heavier but it shouldn’t be that noticeable. If being the latest isn’t a priority, you can snap the iPad 2 from the Apple Online Store from just RM1,199 while stocks last. So anyone going t...

Proton Preve 1.6CFE !

Image
I must be frank that the Proton Preve is the model I anticipated the most from Proton. Specs and design has been leaked well before the launch of the Preve, and both aspect flabbergasted the entire nation. The Preve proved to the world that Proton is stepping up in the game by offering more equipments and safety features than its close competitors at a much lower price. Let's take a look at Preve's design. Some say it looks like Kia Forte from the front, but I beg to differ. The Preve looks smarter with the daytime running light on, and has more road presence on the road thanks to its bulkier front end. However, Forte's low-slung front end makes the car sportier looking than the Preve. The rear end of the Preve bears some resemblance of the Volvo S60, which is a good thing considering the S60 is an amazing looking sedan. But the lines can be cleaner in my opinion, where the line from the Proton badge doesn't flow well into the taillights and suddenly...

Nissan NV200 - New York's Taxi of Tomorrow

Image
The Nissan NV200 is set to replace the obsolete looking Ford Crown Victoria as New York City's taxi! I'm sure you'll see the Crown Victoria dominated New York's street if you been there, and NV200 will change the landscape soon. By the way, Nissan NV200 is also available in Malaysia now as the Nissan Vanette's replacement model. Don in yellow, the NV200 has the usual taxi outlook, but it looks a bit like cargo van without alloy wheels. However, the NV200 is said to be the most comfortable and safest taxi the City has ever had, as it comes with curtain airbags for front and rear occupants. Nissan has done a great job in designing the cabin of the NV200. You'll never know that the NV200 is a MPV if you didn't get to see its exterior. The cabin is quite car-like but with dashboard mounted gear lever to free up the space at the front. Ingress and egress made easy thanks to the sliding door, entry step and grab handles. The high carbin hei...

HTC’s upcoming Wildfire S successor picture leaked

Image
After unveiling the HTC One series, an entry level smart phone is expected to be released soon. Dubbed as the HTC Golf, the device you’re seeing here is rumoured to be the upcoming HTC Wildfire C, the successor of the Wildfire S. In terms of specs, it comes with a 3.5″ display pushing 480×320 pixels, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of on board storage which is expandable with microSD. Over at the back, there’s a 5MP camera and what’s interesting to note is the presence of a front facing camera. It runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and it is likely to run on a single core processor of 1GHz or below. Previously the Wildfire / Wildfire S was demanding a rather high price tag beyond RM1000 mark. Since its higher spec HTC One V is priced at RM999, we might be looking at a more affordable price tag below RM900, which makes it a worthy competitor for the Samsung Galaxy Y.
