You can’t buy it just yet, but Nissan
has just unveiled the all-new Nissan Almera Nismo Performance Package
Concept at the Super GT International Series Malaysia 2013. Fortunately,
the wait for this Nismo-tuned Nissan Almera will be over soon, when Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) launches it in Malaysia later this year in the fourth quarter.
What is it?
Essentially, it’s a 2013 Nissan Almera that’s been “inspired by Nismo’s motorsports technologies”; improved aerodynamics, handling and agility.
On the outside, there’s lots to do about a bodykit with the Performance Package Almera. There is a Nismo-specific front and rear bumper spoilers, side skirts, rear spoiler, and 17-inch alloy wheels to finish. For added “performance”, there is a Nismo Exhaust Muffler, and a Sports Suspension included.
It’s much of the same story inside as well, with the Nissan Almera Performance Package Concept featuring more sporty cues like race seats and various changes to trim details.
“Innovation that excites,” so says Nissan. Well, we’ll be looking forward to how good the 2013 Nissan Almera Nismo Performance Package Concept goes come the fourth quarter of this year.
