New 7mm 2.5-inch WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive now on sale in Malaysia for RM 449

t the recently concluded Computex Taipei 2013, Western Digital or better known as WD, has announced that the hard drive maker is shipping the world’s thinnest terabyte hard drive. The new 2.5-inch WD Blue 1TB mobile hard drive is measured at only 7mm thick. The good news is the hard drive is now on sale in Malaysia for retail price of RM 449.

Some of the features of WD Blue 7mm hard drives include shock tolerance, quiet performance (thanks to WD’s exclusive WhisperDrive technology), improved long term reliability (due to less head wear and improved non-operational shock tolerance) and more.
