Behold! The Lamborghini steals the thunder once again with leaked photos of the new Veneno. Despite the emergence of the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari F70 teasers, Lamborghini has, it seems, a response, just days before the start of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Lamborghini has strictly kept further information about the hypercar from going public, leaving the rest of the details to be revealed in the Geneva Motor Show. However, it is known that the Veneno will be limited to only three production units, all of which have been sold!
What does it cost?
The name ‘Veneno’ is said to be translated from the Spanish term for ‘Poison’. Information was sourced by The Sunday Time newspaper, saying that the new Lamborghini Veneno will cost £3.1mil. (That’s a whopping RM14.5m!).
Preview of the performance
Powering the new Lamborghini Veneno is a 6.5-litre V12 engine producing a massive 740HP (552 kW). Adding to the heat of the news is the seven-speed ISR robotized manual gearbox that enables the Veneno to reach a blazing top speed of 354km/h.
There is nothing short of futuristic when it comes to the new Lamborghini Veneno exterior. With a big spoiler in the rear, carbon fibre inclusions all over, long sweptback headlights and massive wheels, the Veneno is monumentally impressive. More details and specifications will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
