Acer Malaysia has announced the availability of its budget-friendly Android tablet – the Acer Iconia B1-A71. The tablet made its debut at CES 2013, is now on sale in Malaysia for only RM 399. That’s RM 100 cheaper than ASUS’s MeMO Pad 7.
As for the specs sheet, Iconia B1 sports a 7-inch WSVGA screen display with 1024 x 600 resolution. It is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Mediatek 8317T processor, with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable by up to 32 GB via microSD). The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet weighs at 320 g with 11.3 mm of thickness.
Other features include GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and built-in microphone. The slate comes with a rather small battery capacity of only 2710mAh. A 4270 mAh battery can lasts MeMO Pad for up to 7 hours. Wonder how long can Iconia B1 lasts with less than 3000mAH battery.
