Alibaba just released Qwen-2.5, their proprietary AI model that almost beats Claude Sonnet 3.5, Gemini-2 Flash & GPT-4o 😳 The latest multimodal AI model from the tech giant can: - Code, write text, search the web. - Generate images, just like OpneAI's Dall-E. - Even generate videos like Sora or Google's Veo 2. But here comes the crazy part. Qwen-2.5 VL (the agentic model) lets you create a $200/month OpenAI Operator-like agent for Computer and mobile phones. And it's 100% open-source 🤯 China is now clearly leading in free, open source AI globally. Wild times 🍿 P.S. for more great stuff, check out 🔔 linas.substack.com 🔔, it's the only newsletter you need for all things when Finance meets Technology. For founders, builders, and leaders.
