The 2013 Kia Forte (also known as K3 or Cerato in other countries) exterior images has been officially released. This can give us a clear picture on how the 2013 Forte will look like when it arrives on our shore, perhaps with only minor difference such as different fog lamps design. The headlights bear some resemblance of the BMW3-Series, but it brings a refreshing feel to Kia's design language. The only thing is the front end, which is a bit too bubbly for me, perhaps it is to improve pedestrian protection.
Since the Forte K3 is based on the Hyundai Elantra, it's safe to say that the Forte K3 comes with a wheelbase of 2700mm, a well 50mm longer compared to the outgoing Forte. From the side, it is noticable that the Forte K3 has a more 'forward moving' design. Kia opted BMW's 'Hofmeister Kink' feature for its rear window design, and it blends well with the rest of the car. The taillights if seen from the side reminds me of its cousin, Elantra.

currency series comprises newly designed banknotes and coins.
The banknotes issued are in the denominations of RM1, RM5, RM10, RM20
and RM100 and will be available for circulation in the second half of
2012. The RM50 denomination banknote for the new currency series is
already in circulation. For this new series, polymer substrate is used
to make the RM1 and RM5 banknotes.
The coins for this series, with denominations of 5 sen, 10 sen, 20 sen
and 50 sen, were launched earlier on 25 July 2011 and will be
introduced into circulation in January 2012.

Nuffnang Premiere Screening – The Dark Knight Rises
*Background music playing* Na na na na na na na na Batman…Na na na na na na na na Batman…
In a dark alleyway behind Jalan Pudu,
Stickman: “Hey, I got to know that your next installment would be your last in this trilogy. It’s time to give away some invites that my Nuffnangers deserve, not that they need it though.”
Batman: “Not what they need? Please, they need me. I’m Batman.”
Stickman: “Take it easy bro, by that I mean they would still watch the movie even without our invites.”
On a more serious note, you’ve read it right. The Dark Knight Rises is set to be Christopher Nolan’s epic conclusion to his 3-part Batman film series! Joining forces with Selina Kyle, a.k.a Catwoman, Bruce Wayne will be facing one of his more physically and intellectual powerful enemies, Bane. Bigger foe, bigger Batmobiles, bigger guns! We reckon that this final installation of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy is set to leave us mind-blown!
SUMMARY:
Despite his tarnished reputation after the events of The Dark Knight, in which he took the rap for Dent’s crimes, Batman feels compelled to intervene to assist the city and its police force which is struggling to cope with Bane’s plans to destroy the city.

Fiat 500L
The “L” in its
name stands for “large,” and the 500L lives up to its moniker by
offering two more doors than the regular 500 hardtop as well as seating
for a fifth passenger. European 500L is 163.0 inches long, 70.1 inches
wide, and 65.4 inches tall; that’s a little longer and taller than and
roughly the same width as a Mini Countryman. The measurements will be
essentially unchanged. Cargo room, is sure to increase beyond the
pitiful 10 cubic feet available behind the smaller 500’s rear seats.
Styling-wise,
the transition from 500 to 500L reminds us of the relationship between
the Mini Countryman and the Mini Cooper hatch; the 500L looks like a 500
that stuck its thumb in its mouth and an air hose in its tail. That
said, it’s not totally unattractive, and details like the bulging
fenders and the wraparound windshield add some zest. The enormous front
quarter-windows are somewhat debatable, however. The front end’s big
black bumper and chunky plastic trim on the doors and rear end add some
crossover-ness to the appearance.
Speaking of
crossover pretensions, the 500L will be front-wheel drive—but we expect
an optional all-wheel-drive system adapted from the architecturally
related Fiat Panda to be worked into the mix eventually. We’re hoping
the 101-hp, 1.4-liter four from the standard 500 isn’t in the running;
the 160-hp, turbocharged four from the 500 Abarth would be a nice
alternative. The Euro-spec model gets Fiat’s TwinAir two-cylinder and a
1.3-liter turbo-diesel among its options.

ASUS PadFone revealed in Malaysia at RM2,399
Finally the multi-convergence ASUS PadFone is finally launched in Malaysia. Revealed officially months ago at MWC, it features a 4.3″ Android ICS Smart phone that’s dockable into a 10.1″ tablet form factor. In addition, the tablet is also expandable into a “notebook” form factor with a matching keyboard dock. This offers 3 different usability in a single solution.
In terms of specs, the PadFone runs on dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm 8260A Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. Over at the back, it comes with a 8MP f/2.2 camera with assisted flash and has a front facing VGA camera. Juicing up the “Fone” is a 1,520mAh battery and it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
When plugged into the PadFone station, it expands the display to a IPS 10.1″ at 1280×800 resolution and it comes with a front facing 1.3MP camera. The key benefit of this is having to share just one 3G data plan for both Fone and Tablet usage. In addition, the larger battery in the PadFone Station works as a battery pack that charges the PadFone while being docked. The keyboard dock also comes with battery that also acts as extra juice for the entire combo.
At time of launch, both the “Fone” and PadFone station is priced at RM2,399. The dockable keyboard is sold separately with pricing yet to be confirmed. So what happens if a call comes in while the “Fone” is being docked? There’s a stylus headset which is a pen stylus that doubles up as a phone receiver. This probably looks less silly when answering calls than to hold the entire tablet onto your face. The stylus headset is sold separately at RM179. In terms of warranty, ASUS is giving 2 years warranty for the PadFone and 1 year warranty for the PadFone station.
For more information, head over to ASUS.
